“ALCOHOL INTERLOCK” uses SecureSWITCH / SecureFUSE technology to reliably control the engine start circuit and power system without requiring any modifications to the vehicle.
If intoxication is detected, the vehicle cannot be started electronically.
Users can register and set up the system via a smartphone app. Alcohol levels can be measured using a Figaro Giken Bluetooth breathalyzer, eliminating the need for an in-vehicle device or a dashboard-mounted unit.
This solution has a strong market presence overseas in regions where it has been legalized, and we plan to expand its adoption among corporate customers in Japan in the future.
